WELCOME RECEPTION

AT SOCIETA' UMANITARIA DI MILANO - CHIOSTRO DEI PESCI

The Cloister of the Fishes is the largest of the 4 cloisters of St. Barnabas, overlooked by the splendid Hall of Frescos, the former refectory of the convent. It owes its name to a stone pool, created since the time of the convent, in which fish live.

The Cloister, characterized by a very wide portico that makes it usable in all seasons and enriched by the large inner garden, has been partly covered by a wooden platform from which stands an ancient weeping beech tree that towers over much of the central garden with its lush foliage.

Fuorimano OTBP is a large venue in Milan similar to a hangar that also houses a terrace-garden with a swimming pool.

The name Fuorimano OTBP means “Off The Beaten Path.” It is an informal, and spacious venue established in 2015 in an industrial hangar furnished with salvaged and modern pieces, plants and colors. Large wooden tables and chairs of different materials and colors are arranged in the two huge rooms that make up the venue, where retro corners decorated with furniture, lamps and design objects with an extremely vintage look.

An illuminated bicycle stands out on the central wall, as if to remind us of the green philosophy that Fuorimano observes and communicates, through its culinary offerings.
